Brent,

This is a very interesting presentation - the idea of conveying a 'personal presence' for personal learning environments...

If the education is truly to be 'learner-centred', then the systems by which we participate should have the learner in the centre (vs. the teacher!), and that it is easier for learners to connect with learners, to understand what they are interested in, thinking about, and connected to - other users, communities, materials, resources, etc.

Very interesting in the way this is going...
